Town TV Reception Update

Nhulunbuy Corporation would like to advise residents we have identified an issue with the retransmission of free-to-air Television networks in Nhulunbuy.

The issue appears to be isolated to different areas of the community, at intermittent times and affects some or all services. This unforeseen infrastructure fault (likely the result of nature) requires specialised and sensitive equipment to be sourced, constructed, freighted and installed by specialist contractors.

We are working as quickly as possible to secure rectification and have already commenced the procurement process, with a best-case scenario indicating at least one-week before services are fully restored and the issue resolved. Temporary solutions have been deployed in an attempt to reduce the fall-out/blackspot areas.

We appreciate everyone’s patience whilst our teams work diligently to restore this service to provide benefit to the Nhulunbuy Community.
