Residents are advised that the election of three representatives to the Nhulunbuy Town Board will be held on Saturday 8 April 2017 from 8am-6pm.

Boat Ramp Wash Bay

The Nhulunbuy Regional Sports Fishing Club would like to advise that there are now 2 hoses provided to wash boat trailers at the wash bay.

Town TV Reception Update

Nhulunbuy Corporation would like to advise residents we have identified an issue with the retransmission of free-to-air Television networks in Nhulunbuy.

The issue appears to be isolated to different areas of the community, at intermittent times and affects some or all services. This unforeseen infrastructure fault (likely the result of nature) requires specialised and sensitive equipment to be sourced, constructed, freighted and installed by specialist contractors.

We are working as quickly as possible to secure rectification and have already commenced the procurement process, with a best-case scenario indicating at least one-week before services are fully restored and the issue resolved. Temporary solutions have been deployed in an attempt to reduce the fall-out/blackspot areas.

We appreciate everyone’s patience whilst our teams work diligently to restore this service to provide benefit to the Nhulunbuy Community.

Town Road Closure

We wish to advise the Nhulunbuy Corporation will be conducting essential road maintenance along Franklyn Street commencing tomorrow Tuesday 14 February 2017.

The road will be closed from the entrance of the Nhulunbuy Op Shop carpark through to the entrance of the Arnhem Club carpark. Access to the Woolworths carpark will remain as per normal.

Maintenance will run for roughly 3 business days pending weather conditions. If you require further information please contact our office on 8939 2200 during business hours.
